Now that you have converted your OneRooftop trial to a subscription, it's time to finish setting up your account.
Update Property Profiles
Before doing anything else, we recommend making sure your property profiles are up to date.
- In your OneRooftop admin, go to Properties and click the pencil icon next to the property you want to edit.
- Then go through each tab from left to right to edit the information. The most important sections to edit are:

Use the address fields to enter your property's location. You may choose to display the exact location or a general area. Click "Update Pin From Address" to set the location on the map.
If you do not wish to enter an address, you can move the pin manually on the map.
Either way, be sure to click "Save" once you're done.

We recommend adding a standard rate in addition to seasonal/custom rates. This will ensure that any gaps between your custom rate periods are covered.

Before your property goes live, it is imperative to make sure your availability is current to prevent overbookings. There are a couple ways to achieve this.
If you are syncing external calendars in OneRooftop, be sure to also export your calendar to each of your other booking sources (Airbnb, VRBO, etc.). See our guide here.
Build Your Website
The basics of your website should be functional before you go live. You can always add more later, but we recommend starting with the basics so you can launch as quickly as possible.
Before you can start taking credit card payments online, you must set up a merchant account.
In order to start accepting payment using your merchant account, you will need to connect it to your property, or each of your properties. The quickest place to do this is from Account > Payments.
This is also whether you can choose whether or not to allow bookings and inquiries, as well as set your currency.
The final step is to run a test charge to make sure everything ends up where you expect it.
You can create a fake reservation and manually enter a credit card or pay through a payment link. Afterwards, refund the payment. We suggest testing with a small amount.
Once complete, you can cancel or delete the reservation.
Now that your properties, website and merchant account are set up, you can start accepting reservations!
When guests want to inquire about their reservation before confirming, you will receive an inquiry notification. This message is sent to the email address used for logging in to your OneRooftop account. To change this, go to Account > General.
When you receive this message, you should reply directly through your email provider.
You can view all incoming and outgoing system messages through your admin, however, OneRooftop does not keep a threaded log of email conversations.

If you require approval on bookings, then all requests will come through as Pending Approval. To accept or decline the reservation, go to Reservations > Edit Reservation > Click Accept OR Decline.
Once a reservation is accepted, the status will automatically change to booked and the corresponding dates will be blocked on the property's calendar.
If the reservation is declined, the status will automatically change to inquiry, and the dates will not block the calendar.
Accepting a reservation will automatically send the guest a booking notification. Declining will send an automated response as well. Learn how to manage system notifications here.
